The 20-year-old musician Proph was born and raised in Thornton Heath South London and begun his journey by studying the game from the age of thirteen. Self Producing all of his own work, the young talent introduces a new stylistic approach to UK Hip-Hop and tells his stories through an equally unique format. Merging retro 2000’s era tones with modern day hard hitting drums, Proph’s versatility both Sonically and content wise puts him into an unprecedented lane of his own. 

Some of PR’s highlights of 2022 include his first single ‘Side Mission’ gaining a co-sign from cornerstone MC’s like Chip and RnB singer Ama-Lou, performing his own set at Wireless Birmingham, and gaining great critical acclaim for his 90’s themed single ‘Baby Boy’, all of which doubled his following and interest.

The young prospect is set to perform at Reading & Leeds this summer as well as supporting J.I The Prince on his UK amongst various other shows. His first single of 2023, the highly anticipated ‘Lose It’, is out now…

Sonically 'Lose It' is a dancehall inspired UK rap banger with hard hitting drums, contagious flows and a wavy calypso bounce produced and written by Proph. 

Proph has steadily been building a buzz since his Wireless performance last summer from releasing 90’s/Naughties Hip-Hop infused freestyles, his previous single ‘Baby Boy’ has been extremely well received by fans and media, as well as already being confirmed as a BBC Introducing artist for 2023 and performing at Reading/Leeds Festival.
